REGISTRATIONIt is with great pleasure to share with you that the American Single Reed Summit 2022 will be hosted by the University of South Carolina from October 13th to 16th. Our board, planning committee, and hosts are working to ensure an unforgettable musical experience for all that attend. In addition to performances by our featured artists, you can look forward to masterclasses, clinics, performances, and lectures by attendees, an international clarinet competition, and discussion panels.

International Clarinet Competition 2022The American Single Reed Summit, in collaboration with the University of South Carolina, presents the 1st American Single Reed Summit International Clarinet Competition. The summit will take place from October 13-16, 2022 with the dates of the competition taking place on October 14-15, 2022 at the University of South Carolina.

Absolutely! Graduate students in chamber groups that feature either or both the saxophone and clarinet are encouraged to apply though preference is given to ensembles that feature both instruments. Yes, this year will feature clarinet competitions. Information can be found here. Yes, groups of all ages are encouraged to apply to perform. We are looking to create a highly beneficial experience for musicians of all ages and experience. In addition to performances by major artists from around the United States, there will be discussion panels, masterclasses, workshops, and clinics with this age group in mind. Events will include auditioning for college programs, all-state auditions, gender equality in the field, building chamber groups, careers in music, and more! Click here for more FAQ.
