The American Single Reed Summit is a national event for saxophonists and clarinetists that was founded in 2017 and had its first event in 2018. We encourage cross-collaboration between saxophonists and clarinetists in order to create meaningful musical experiences for current and future generations. Our summits are intended to aid musicians both artistically and professionally through performances, masterclasses, clinics, lectures, and discussion panels.
It is with great pleasure to share with you that the American Single Reed Summit 2022 will be hosted by the University of South Carolina from October 13th to 16th. Our board, planning committee, and hosts are working to ensure an unforgettable musical experience for all that attend. In addition to performances by our featured artists, you can look forward to masterclasses, clinics, performances, and lectures by attendees, an international clarinet competition, and discussion panels.
